It is color that most excites and energizes me.  When observing my surroundings and seeing beautiful color combinations, I try to capture them in my felting, weaving and knitting.  Also important to me is the texture of the fiber as it manifests itself in handspun yarns, felted accessories and woven tapestries.

After more than 30 years as a professional librarian, I retired from life as an information professional and am now free to devote my time to fiber artistry. I have been exploring different media and techniques and have participated in many workshops.

I have been an active member of several study groups in both the Potomac Fiber Arts Guild and the Weavers Guild of Greater Baltimore and a member of the Potomac Fiber Arts Gallery since 2003.
